Multi-parallel Experimental Bioreactor

Multi-parallel Experimental Bioreactor

The Multi-Parallel Experimental Bioreactor integrates multiple independent fermentation units in a single system for strain screening, media optimization, and parallel process parameter validation. Equipped with 2 to 16 independent fermentation vessels – typically high-borosilicate glass with volumes from 500 mL to 5L – this system enables simultaneous comparative experiments under identical or differentiated culture conditions.

Product Introduction

The Multi-Parallel Experimental Bioreactor integrates multiple independent fermentation units in a single system for strain screening, media optimization, and parallel process parameter validation. Equipped with 2 to 16 independent fermentation vessels – typically high-borosilicate glass with volumes from 500 mL to 5L – this system enables simultaneous comparative experiments under identical or differentiated culture conditions. The parallel design significantly reduces batch-to-batch variation and shortens process optimization cycles.

Parallel Configuration and Independent Control

Each fermentation unit operates independently with its own temperature, agitation speed, and aeration control. The centralized control system allows unified adjustment of key parameters across all units, while also enabling independent parameter tuning for individual units to meet specific experimental requirements. Each unit is equipped with its own pH and DO sensors for real-time data acquisition and recording.

Flexible Sterilization Options

The system supports both in-situ sterilization (SIP) and ex-situ sterilization (WIP), accommodating different laboratory sterilization conditions. This flexibility allows the system to be adapted to various facility configurations and experimental protocols.

High Throughput and Experimental Efficiency

The parallel design enables multiple experimental conditions to be tested simultaneously under the same environmental conditions, dramatically reducing the time required for process optimization. This high-throughput capability is particularly valuable for strain performance comparison, media formulation screening, and fermentation parameter optimization studies.

Typical Applications

The multi-parallel bioreactor is used in bioengineering laboratories for strain performance comparison, media formulation screening, and fermentation process parameter optimization (temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen). It is also suitable for pilot-scale process validation in pharmaceutical and food fermentation industries.
